Spindle speeders are used to increase the RPMs of your machine cutting tools. If you need higher output but don’t want to upgrade your entire system, a spindle speeder will give you five times the speed — or more.
Madaula spindle speeders come in a range so that you can choose the model that meets your needs:
- MV-7 offers a speed ratio of 1:7 with a maximum output of 15,000 RPM. It has a CAT-50 taper and an ER-20 output spindle.
- MV-8 offers a speed ratio of 1:5 with a maximum output of 20,000 RPM. It has a CAT-40 or CAT-50 taper and an ER-16 output spindle.
- MV-9 offers a speed ratio of 1:6 with a maximum output of 40,000 RPM. It has a CAT-40 taper and an ER-11 output spindle.
Each of these models is also available with ceramic bearings, which can increase the maximum output. The MV-7C has a maximum output of 25,000 RPM, and the MV-8C has a maximum output of 30,000 RPM.
